Not a bug in plymouth as it relies on KMS for the splash resoultion
which isn't supported by the proprietary nvidia drivers. (Possible dup
of bug 565980 ?).

As far as GRUB goes, we'd like to do this but it will require very
extensive upstream development work, so don't hold your breath too much.
