Public bug reported: Binary package hint: wacom-tools
Steps to reproduce (on Karmic x86_64): 1) Plug the USB model of Wacom Graphire2 into the computer. 2) In System: Preferences: Visual Effects, select Normal to start compiz 3) Install the wacom-tools package. 4) In terminal, run the command: xsetwacom set 'Wacom Graphire2 4x5' Button2 'DBLCLICK 0' 5) Open System: Preferences: Mouse 6) Move the Wacom stylus so that the cursor is over the light bulb with the tip of the stylus a millimeter away from the tablet surface. 7) Press the lower end of the double-ended button on the stylus without letting the tip of the stylus touch the tablet surface (to avoid registering a tip-push click). 8) Release the button. Actual results: The light bulb becomes brighter until the button is released but there's no halo around the light bulb. (I.e. the button worked like the left mouse button works normally.) Expected results: Expected the light bulb to light up bright with a halo around it and expected it to stay lit for a while after the button has been released. (I.e. the button emitted a synthetic double-click when the button was pressed down.) Additional information: If at step #2 you choose None to use metacity instead, the expected results happen.
