I have not been able to get the log files of X, as it was never able to
start.
I have also confirmed that the same problem happens on Ubuntu
(background image loads, start up sounds play, but nothing else happens)
I have tried multiple installation medias and sources.
I am slightly worried, if
I was not given options at boot up (though this might be due to
UNetBootIn)

I am unable to do that, as I cannot get onto the actual RC to put in
that command...unless there is a way to do so?
If so, please advise!

X. Please try to reproduce the problem before running apport-collect.
