Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
On ubuntu 10.04, my external monitor has noisy horizontal lines on everything on an external monitor. The line rapidly and constantly change are across the entire screen. The laptop's screen looks fine, but the external monitor has these lines. This problem only began in Ubuntu 10.04 - I last ran 9.10 and everything was fine. Its a little hard to see on the screenshot because it changes rapidly, but it do give some idea.
