Federico M., this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
Here you are another occurrence.
Actually, it is a bit worryingly that this problem has not been
investigated yet. Apart from my configuration, I do not think I am the
only one affected by it.

I believe that the best way to reproduce it is to use the switch from
user function.
First, use an nVidia video card (my second PC using an Intel Graphics
Media Accelerator 950 does not present the same problem... or at least
it is very rare).
Then:
1) Connect using a first account: A1
2) Launch
The problem is still occurring, but less frequently (once per week).
