I have similiar issue. I use TV as a 2nd video output - connected by HDMI. Sound should be played, but it doesn't work. On Windows sound works with official nvidia drivers. Already I got Ubuntu 12.04, but this problem I've got since I use TV - it was Ubuntu 9.04. About this bug - I think that
