I am closing this bug. After a 3rd upgrade from Lucid, this doesn't seem
to be an issue. I am unable to test with one of the daily images as
there seems to be an issue with them (alternate images are not on site
every other day) i don't know the exact time frame or they are bigger
than they should.

Chris i am aware of the X changes coming up. upgrading worked just none of the
non-free drivers would so i used upstreams but yes through out the next month
or so i will be reinstalling/upgrading as i do monthly during dev cycles.
I will start my scripts to get daily ISO's and see what happens.
Could you please re-test this in a couple of days? There are a bunch of
new packages in Maverick which may fix this: the 2.6.35 kernel, Xserver
1.8, and the new xserver-xorg-video-nouveau.
Thanks!
