Binary package hint: xorg
I am running Maverick Alpha 2 amd64 with the latests updates.
Either running the nouveau driver or the nvidia driver, desktop
animations are very very slow.
Example of animations that are slow:
* When minimizing a window, it takes about 2 seconds to minimize, and you can
differentiate the different steps
* When using Empathy with Ubuntu theme, every conversation bubble appears
really really slowly
