When I plug in my USB wacom tablet to a fresh ubuntu install, and run Blender - i get random zooms in and out in the application doing some research according to http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/mouse1 this is caused by a misconfiguration of the trackpad and wacom device.
