Seems to happen only running VirtualBox with Microsoft XP guest. I run dual monitors (Dell Latitude D820 and a Dell external monitor. Machine will crash no matter which display VirtualBox is running on. I made a similar report on Bug 577487. Workaround: Do not leave computer idle with VirtualBox
