Public bug reported: This is my first bug report, so my apologies if there's a breach of etiquette.
I am having what seems to be a video memory leak issue after upgrading to 10.04 Lucid. Pixels in letters and numbers will randomly turn off and on after roughly one hour of use. Graphics are unaffected by this. Logging out and in again clears the problem for a while. The video card is an ATI Radeon 9200 which ran fine under Karmic. I haven't really been able to reproduce the bug but it sometimes becomes noticeable when I run evince a couple of times. I have a screenshot of the phenomenon if anyone's interested. I may need help in extracting the versions of xorg and other packages. Sorry for the trouble. Many thanks for your help. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Random pixels turn on and off on Radeon 9200 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/612799 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
