Since upgrading from Lucid to Maverick I can't drag anything. That means
no resizing or moving windows, no selecting text, no moving tabs in
Chrome, no sliding the volume up and down, etc.

Just noticed that I can drag things if I use my trackpoint instead of my
touchpad. This reminded me that I use the buttons associated with the
trackpoint because the ones associated witth the touchpad are physically
broken. So that's maybe a clue. This was testing today's daily build.
