Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
The effect only started when today's updates where installed - I did not see it
in previous maverick's version of X server.
I have a Lenovo T60p notebook and an external monitor. On the external monitor,
the image flickers every 10 to 30 seconds and for a split second I seem to see
some huge characters on white background. The image on the notebook LCD panel
stays stable. I am including a short video where you can notice the flicker.
