backtraces don't match up. Maybe you're having some unrelated crash
that just happens to also occur when starting java apps? We'll focus on
jedioetzi's crash for purposes of this bug report, which involves

Indeed, in comparing the backtraces it's apparent this is indeed a dupe
of #650539, which is already being worked on by one of the other
Ubuntu-X maintainers.

sorry but I'm not sure that 650539 is the same issue.
The problem arised in 650539 is working with xinerama and I let crash X without
xinerama.
Anyway I applied the patch of Jared Bunting but it not solved the crash.

I tried with apport, but after the crash I login again but seems nothing
was traced no files like .apport nor /etc/X11/core or /var/crash
using gdb, after I attach to Xorg process Xorg go 99% cpu, then if I try
to switch to tty1 the whole system hangs
