Binary package hint: xorg
Here are the exact steps I take to cause the problem:
1. Open any program. I'll use the Calculator program for this example.
2. Right click the Calculator icon on the dock and select "Pin To Launcher"
3. Right click the Calculator icon on the dock and select "Quit". (The
Calculator program quits and the Calculator icon is still pinned to the dock as
expected)
4. Right click the Calculator icon on the dock and select "Pin To Launcher"
(The Calculator icon on the dock disappears as expected)
5. Open the Calculator program.
The icon will not appear in the dock as expected. The Calculator program
will however open as expected.
This happens with all of the programs I've tested.
