Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
Hyper Threading Technology enables 2nd logical processor. If this option is enabled in BIOS, the system will freeze after some minutes of usage. All system freezes: keys combinations are useless, mouse is irresponsible. This happens not only in Ubuntu, but in other linux distros too. I'm not an expert, so excuse me for some lack of information, but I'm 200% sure of this bug on my machine: Acer Travelmate 2700 ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP Intel Pentium 4 3GHz 512MB DDR ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: xorg 1:7.5+6ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-23.41-generic 2.6.35.7 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-23-generic i686 Architecture: i386 CurrentDmesg: [ 37.293238] EXT4-fs (sda2): re-mounted.
