It looks like the place this would need fixed is in the configure flags
in debian/rules:

hi Bryce,
there is no sad effect, only the log complaint. What is strange about that
warning: previously both 75dpi & 100dpi was used and required, then ubuntu have
decided to drop them because unneeded, so uninstalling those both xfonts should
not make xorg warn. It dont complaint about 100dpi,
Aside from the warnings in Xorg.0.log do you notice any actual problems
caused by the lack of the fonts package?
If not, maybe we can just quell that warning.
