Please test with the following kernel: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/current/ In this newer kernel code is a fix to enlarge unfenced alignments, which appears to be a problem specific to i915/i945. If that kernel makes this lockup bug go away, then we can investigate extr
