Title:
[prosavage8] driver DDC fails if not using VBE
Thanks! From looking at the log, everything seems to be fine. EDID is
read out, and it sets up 1024x768@85 which is the mode preferred by the
monitor. At the end of the log, 1024x768@60 is set, I suppose this is
something Gnome does, maybe because of a user preference in
~/.config/monitors.xml.
Attached is the Xorg.0.log without a xorg.conf using your
xserver-xorg-video-savage driver.
