Hello
Ufortunately i don't use Ubuntu anymore on this computer. I have Arch
Linux now with kernel 3.2 and intel 2.17 driver. Everything works fine.
On my other computer i have Ubuntu Lucid up to date and everything works
just fine. It was only my computer.

How did the newer kernel pan out?
If it still crashes, might try upgrading the ddx -intel driver too. A
packaged version for lucid is available in the x-updates ppa:
