it`s not about documentation of nvidia cards and it`s not on working on
nouveau - it`s about integrating an existing patch into the ubuntu
trusty package !!!

The issue with nouveau (AFAIK) is twofold:
1. Nvidia has not provided documentation for open source developers to
support all GPUs fully; and
2. There are not enough developers working on nouveau so it lags behind even
more.
