Yes, three finger dragging works under unity but not on classic ubuntu desktop (gnome). Tap and hold however works for both but it's hard to initiate likely due to the low sensitivity. Probably the tap and hold delay time is set somewhere to a small value. It should be more than 100 millisecond in
