Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

During Natty certification testing on the intel based Thinkpad Edge 13,
a test is performed that cycles through the various supported
resolutions using xrandr to set each one in sequence.

After a suspend/resume is conducted, that test is run again to verify
that the resolutions still work after a sleep cycle. On the Edge 13,
this killed the GUI leaving only a black screen with a mouse pointer.

I had to drop to a shell and manually kill X to get a working UI again.

** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
