Picture disappearing when Displa
ok... here is what I see...
Displayport:
Desktop Extend: doesnot work...
Only in External Display: everything crashes
VGA:
Desktop Extend: Works as expected
Only in External Display: doesnot work
@si14, can you please tell me which kernel are you using... I don't see any
kernel update via updat
For the others effected, does your VGA port also do the same thing? I
get the same behaviour (desktop extends but monitor doesn't show
anything) on both VGA and DisplayPort.

using natty 64, and everything works fine windows... if I remember
correctly once I tried vga cable which was working... displayport is the
problem

I am having the exact same problem... However after I plug out the
displayport I think I am getting the mouse pointer back in the laptop
screen. However everything else remains black.
