I have updated to the latest version of the Spring RTS engine (85.0) and
updated Ubuntu 11.10 daily and have not had any system lockups as
described in the bug write up for at least a month or two. I have had
some corruption in the video after extended use of a graphic intensive

For the past week the game has been unplayable for me. I was on version
0.82.7.1 of the game. Extremely slow to the point where i could not even
try playing it (~ 2-3 frames per second). I did not save any game logs
at this point unfortunately.

Since the last comment, I have attempted to lock up the system in the
same manner originally described in this bug. The screen does not go
black and lock up and require a restart as before. Before, about one
out of two times on the lock ups the screen would go black and no signal
