Why I use xcompmgr ? I have/use: openbox cairo-dock ! Its not decent without compositing. Unhappy with Awant performance. Problem: Metacity, compiz crash with openbox. That left me the option of xcompmgr what actually does well, except this small bug. How I run xcompmgr: xcompmgr -cF -t-9

I just found out that this is triggered through toggling guake (a terminal window, an oneiric package). It appears and disappears on F12 and obviously the desktop is repainted when the window appears, but not when it disappears. It does not appear when minimizing a window like nautilus. So it
