I just reinstalled oneiric and now glx works fine.
The nvidia drivers were installed themselves.

The nvidia drivers don't work on optimus hardware; the “Additional
Drivers” capplet shouldn't offer to install them anym

i added the ubuntu-x ppa repositories and reinstalled the purged packages (i
found it on a forum post) but glx info stil gives
name of display: :0
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0".
