Public bug reported: nothing like having a couple of brews and getting annoyed by kpackagekit and deciding to give the upgrade a go, and then seeing xorg fail.
Even better is having to troubleshoot xorg via an android ssh session (is it X11 or x11, and where the heck is the tab...). And then finding out that the 'nv' open source driver doesn't exist anymore (where's that xkcd about X). At least I know sed and vesa worked. The nvidia-96 driver FAILS to build. It complains about the source not being present (it is). I figured maybe it was looking for an old school linux symlink (no), or a linux-source-`uname -a` symlink (no). It requires linux-headers-`uname -r` followed by a "dpkg-reconfigure nvidia-96" and then "service restart kdm" Please fix the dependency.
