I'm seeing this error intermittently when putting my laptop to sleep. Sometimes, when opening the lid, the video won't come back on (though the screen's backlight is on) and I'm forced to hard reset. Since reporting this problem I looked more closely at syslog. It looks like the ASIC hang was caused by my attemts to restart the system. In particular, it happens after "SysRq : SAK". The real problem is a few lines earlier: [fglrx:firegl_lock_free] *ERROR* lock was not held by 12! (*lock=0x8
