After adding the ppa ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers the Libreoffice graphics appear to be fixed. However, the globalmenu still does not detect lo-menubar, as shown in the screenshot. Here's the updated driver copied from Ubuntu Software Center: xserver-xorg-video-intel
