Public bug reported: Vino, the built in VNC server in Ubuntu, has had a problem for many releases where it won't update the display when connected remotely if compositing is enabled. This can be easily reproduced using Unity and gnome-shell.
Apparently, bug #772873 only takes care of the same bug with the fglrx driver, so this bug is there to take care of the issue with ATI's open source driver. ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/915906 Title: Vino does not work with compositing using ATI open source driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/915906/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
