Public bug reported: Today I bought a new monitor. I had the resolution of 1024x768 on my old one, now I want 1440x900. I used system settings to set the new resolution, but after re-login I see 1024x768. I used nvidia-settings to set the new resolution, but after re-login I see 1024x768. Before doing that, I deleted xorg.conf. I use Kubuntu 11.10 with the latest updates installed.
