Public bug reported: sometimes when i am watching a video with vlc or something uses the video driver (most programs do in a way..) my ubuntu oneiric, running on a x40, the screen turns black and all display output is gone until i reboot. no tty. nothing. (i know of some blogs telling about the driver situation - no support because opengl does not work (?) - but hey - 2 friends have notebooks with the same graphics chipset. i think this driver still is relevant.)
some info - as described - only vlc running and suddenly all black again: ~ $> dmesg | tail [11341.056084] kjournald starting.
