I can't Ctrl+Alt+F1 into a terminal, and no other input seems to do anything. I have to hard-reboot the computer at this point to get back to the desktop. Using Oneiric 32-bit with the NVIDIA 280.13-0ubuntu6 driver. I'm really not confident that I'm filing this against the correct package. - --- - ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 - Architecture: i386 - DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 - EcryptfsInUse: Yes - InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) - NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia - Package: gnome-session 3.2.1-0ubuntu1.1 - PackageArchitecture: all - ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-16.29-generic-pae 3.0.20 - Tags: oneiric running-unity - Uname: Linux 3.0.0-16-generic-pae i686 - UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-10-13 (166 days ago) - UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout dip fax floppy fuse lpadmin plugdev sambashare tape video - --- + --- .proc.driver.nvidia.gpus.0: Error: [Errno 21] Is a directory: '/proc/driver/nvidia/gpus/0' .proc.driver.nvidia.registry: Binary: "" .proc.driver.nvidia.version: - NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86 Kernel Module 280.13 Wed Jul 27 16:55:43 PDT 2011 - GCC version: gcc version 4.6.1 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.1-9ubuntu3) + NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86 Kernel Module 280.13 Wed Jul 27 16:55:43 PDT 2011 + GCC version: gcc version 4.6.1 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.1-9ubuntu3) .tmp.unity.support.test.0: - + ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 Architecture: i386 CompizPlugins: [core, bailer, detection, composite, opengl, decor, compiztoolbox, snap, imgpng, place, regex, mousepoll, move, grid, gnomecompat, resize, vpswitch, session, wall, unitymtgrabhandles, animation, workarounds, fade, expo, scale, ezoom, unityshell, switcher] CompositorRunning: compiz DistUpgraded: Log time: 2011-10-13 18:11:30.646466 DistroCodename: oneiric DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 DistroVariant: ubuntu EcryptfsInUse: Yes GraphicsCard: - nVidia Corporation G96 [GeForce 9500 GT] [10de:0640] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) - Subsystem: eVga.com.
