Public bug reported: Since I've switched to 12.04 beta, I've noticed that I need to press layout switch key combination more than one time to actually switch layout, like first time I'm pressing wrong hotkeys. I use Alt+Shift combination to switch layouts, but problem is reproducible with Ctrl+Shift, Shift+Caps Lock, etc.
Steps to reproduce: 1) Set several key combinations involving Shift key to switch layout Gnome control center -> Keyboard layouts -> Options -> Key(s) to switch layout 2) Press and hold Shift key 3) Press and release Alt key several times (in case of Alt+Shift combination) 4) See layout changes each time, works as intended 5) Now press and hold Alt key 6) Press and release Shift key several times 7) See nothing happens, expected behavior: layout switching each time This behavior is reproducible at least for Alt, Ctrl and Caps Lock keys. It's really annoying since pressing Shift even a milliseconds after another key makes key combination to not work, when order of keys should not affect layout switching.
