Smarteralec, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Is this still happening? I recall there was a bug causing some reversed
mouse scrollwheel but it's since been fixed.

As of today (2012-07-24) my mouse is still reverse-scrolling in Firefox
Aurora, LibreOffice, Evince, and a bunch of other apps, but is scrolling
correctly in Gedit and Nautilus. Hope this helps. :)

Mouse-wheel scrolling backwards
The input ddx driver would be a better guess. Could also be kernel, but
-evdev is more likely to get looked at. Refiling.

Bryce Harrington, I put this issue in xorg queue, but bugbot twice
changed it to fglrx-installer. This seems not to be the correct package
as this is a mouse-wheel scrolling issue. What would be a better package
to put this into?

Ok, done everything requested. Attaching requested files, plus extra
lsusb-v-terminal-msgs and ButtonPress-events-terminal-output.
This is a very annoying little bug, as I use LibreOffice and FF Aurora
and Evince quite often. Let me know what else I can do to help.
Thanks, Alec.
