That is possible. Back then I may have been using a custom ppa to have a
newer version going.
What repo do you recommend for production when you want to enjoy the
latest features but not produce incompatible project files?

This fix resolved my issue just in time with the final 15.10 Kubuntu
release candidate. Perhaps coincidentally, it also resolved this

We've been hitting this in Fedora 23 validation testing too:

for us it seems to be an arch thing; it's reliably reproducible with the
32-bit image, not with the 64-bit image. I'm testing the fix now.
