In older versions of qjackctl, the ability to control qjackctl via dbus
was always on. So having both on would leave things the same as prior
versions. I think Rui added this as a setting for those running it on
minimal systems with no dbus.

I hope I'll be able to get the fix into Qt before Xenial release (or in
the worst case as an early SRU). So no need to add the workaround.

I noticed this change, but thought that we need only the old option.
Now, should I enable only the new (Enable JACK D-Bus interface), or
both?

I meant to add would be possible (advisable) to change the qjackctl.desktop
file to use:
export XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity; qjackctl
as the executable line as a temporary work around?

Also: the new version has changed the name of one of the settings that
needs to be set by default for thing s to work ootb.

In the past, qjackctl was shipped with Enable D-bus interface enabled.
In the latest version, This option's meaning has changed :P to mean
enable dbus interface to qjackctl rather than the old meaning of use
jackdbus rather than jackd. The new version (April 6 2016) has a new
Fixed with bunch of apt-get upgrade/install this day (april 7).
