The Blackfin toolchain to compile its uClinux-dist uses uClibc 0.9.29
from May 2007.
I was wondering...
1. Are there major reasons to upgrade to the latest uClibc?
2. If yes, can I just recompile uClibc and add the binaries to the
toolchain, or are we required to build a whole new toolcha

Actually, even the run-of-the-mill uClinux also uses uClibc 0.9.29:

How come those two uClinux-dist still relies on

I haven't done this yet, but I'll try compiling the Blackfin toolchain
with the latest uCibc and see how it goes.
