may you have a look on openwrt, they patch samba to run on very small
devices, like routers with uclibc.
for example, you can run samba on a 8mb flash and 32 mb ram device
like wl500gp from asus.

hi erwin, this is a great website you have!
i worked with uclinux on the isl3893 and some other arm based wireless
devices (dwl900, samsung arm), but have not the skills to provide
