Boa was my first choice, but it doesn't support ssi and the maintainers won't
do it in the future.
Some people ported php for boa, but that is much too big for me.
Therefore I can't use it.

supports cgi, maybe it is worth a look. Using .htpasswd with CGI
might be possible, see user/boa/cgi.c, line 442.
I had the same trouble with appWeb, at least I gave up.

Does that mean that no one did it yet and I shouldn't do so either?
I need a webserver with ssi and cgi support.
At the moment I use thttpd, but the support for ssi/cgi is not complete,
it does not work with a .htpasswd file.
Any suggestions?

- enable with make xconfig
- run make
