and udmsearch does find the word "turnkey" on this document. BUT if I
put turnkey into the tag udmsearch picks
it up prefectly.
Do I need to do something special to make udmsearch index the of html
documents?

it's not indexing those documents appropriately. The document shows up in
the url table, but not in the dict table.

Should have a FAQ on how to ask appropria
see it hitting the pages that contain "ISDN", but they
are not showing up in the search results.
