Hi Amit,
While trying to start the OpenSolaris 2008.05 on my 32-bit notebook,
the start up procedure gets stuck (see screen shot). The CD-ROM drive
shows no activity and I can even eject it.
Please note that:
* works fine on a 64-bit notebook
* works fine with VirtualBox 1.5 on Ubuntu

Boot in verbose mode - i.e. add -kv -m verbose at the end of the
kernel line in grub.
This should give more clues about what happens just before the hang.
The screenshot is attached, I am not sure what it means. (Hope the
shot is legible)
Nothing to fish there. No error messages.

Any ideas as to what is going wrong?
Is this on bare metal or VM?
Does BeleniX boot on the same machine?
The two demos at yesterday's bosug session were awesome.
There have been different project ideas that people have been working upon.
I would like to draw the attention of those doing all the hard work to
the community innovation awards program
(http://opensolaris.org/os/project/awards).

No one at ug-bosug will be able to offer clarifications.
