Hi, I installed Nevada B82 on my laptop (IBM ThinkPad T61). The audio device was not detected. Later, I installed the driver from OSS site, http://www.4front-tech.com/release/oss-solaris-v4.0-1015-i386.pkg It detected the device and could play the music but along with that I am getting a continu

Hi Vivek, Yes. This is a known bug. The internal mike is inadvertently pulled high during attach and this is what causes the feedback. As a hack, put the following lines into some rc script that will be run just before X starts ossmix misc.mic 0:0 ossmix connector.int-mic 0:0 ossmix misc.int-mi
