You don't need to do any of this to create a zone. You can just create a zone inside some directory in your existing filesystem. E.g: # zonecfg -z demozone demozone: No such zone configured Use 'create' to begin configuring a new zone. zonecfg:demozone> create zonecfg:demozone> set zonepath=/expo
