Museveni to appear on BBC
PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni will on Monday appear on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)s daily half-hour TV news programme, Hardtalk with Tim Sebastian.
Alfred Wasike reports that the programme host, Tim Sebastian, interviewed Museveni exclusively on Tuesday in Kampala. Sebastian won the Royal Television Societys prestigious award for Interviewer of the Yearfor two years running.
Musevenis senior media adviser John Nagenda said, The interview went very well. It will appear from Monday next week on BBC World and BBC News 24.
The BBC says the half-hour interview is the result of detailed research and in-depth investigations.
