Rustlers Kill UPDF Soldiers

KARIMOJONG cattle rustlers on Sunday shot dead two UPDF soldiders guarding a resettlement camp in Ngenge sub-county in Kapchorwa district, the resident district commissioner has said.
Joseph Arwata said the rustlers robbed two guns from the slain soldiers who were attached to the UPDF Kata Battalion under the 3rd Division.

Arwata told journalists that the victims were guarding Kapkwot resettlement camp when the warriors attacked.

Security sources said the soldiers did not resist the attack.
He said the deceased would be buried in their homes.
