THE LC5 chairpersons of Gulu, Pader and Kitgum districts have offered sh80m to anybody
who will by any means persuade LRA top commanders like Otti and Odhiambo to denounce
rebellion.
Kitgum district boss Nahaman Ojwee said the money was contributed by peace-loving
Acholis living here and abroad.
"Whoever will make these notorious commanders come out of the bush whether militarily
or peacefully will be given that money," Ojwee said.
"We started this move quietly as district leaders of the three Acholi districts some
two months ago, but now we have decided to make it open for people who have contacts
with the rebels to tell them to come out," he said.
