HIGH Court judge Julia Ssebutinde (right) has decried an army officers' habit of giving deadlines to end the Joseph Kony war.
She was on Sunday addressing a public dialogue of Christian professionals at the Sheraton Hotel.
"The brave faces will not help. Today we make this statement, tomorrow the little fellow confounds us by murdering 25 people," she said in reference to the recent ambush on the Soroti-Lira road in which Kony rebels killed 25 people aboard a Gateway bus.
The army has in the past given deadlines to finish the LRA rebellion which has never materialised.
Ssebutinde said Ugandans were not focussed and ought to discuss pressing issues like ending the northern war, eradicating poverty and the HIV/AIDS.
