[uknof] Juniper MX5 BGP and LDP Issue

Hi Guys, Anyone had any big issues with Juniper MX5s? One of mine just threw a load of BGP peers and some LDP at the same time - it's been rock solid for a few years. We have raised it with JTAC but just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced a similar problem? It is carrying full tables

Been using a few MX80's for MPLS (BGP + RSVP though) for a few years now and yes, rock solid with full tables. Can top your memory usage, but not had any issues with them. Replacing some of them with MX104s because of the memory usage on the MX80s so I can sleep better at night! :) Cat Nocsult

Thanks Cat, I went with the MX5 because of the upgrade path available - don't quite have the budget to go any higher yet :) I suspect that JTAC will just tell us to upgrade, which I was planning on doing anyway as we have a bug in netflow export of AS numbers. Best regards, Paul Paul Bone | Co
